Super Busy but good

This week was busy but not horrible. I was so busy working on IT 210, I basically lived in the IT lab. I did the math and I worked on a project for at least 25 hours. That wouldn't be too bad if it was for a big paper in a class or something, but this is a weekly thing. But I am getting used to it now. It isn't so horrible getting back from campus late. And Allie is there a lot of the time so that makes it better, especially when I can help her. I was planning on asking her out last week, but that didn't end up happening. I am still torn on whether to invite her to a group activity, or just ask her on a date. And there is not good answer because both are good options, and I probably won't know if I made the right decision until after it is too late. But it has been a good week, talking to her more and helping her. We have messaged each other a couple of times on facebook. Most of it starts out talking about class, but I have been able to get it onto other friendly conversations. So I am happy where things are at but want them to keep moving forward. But that is also the scary part. Luckily this week my other classes have been light on homework so that is nice but it is funny because I feel my entire life revolves around my IT class. That isn't horrible because at least it is interesting, and I like the type of challenge that it presents. But I have never had a class rule over my life as much as this.

Great Week

The last couple weeks have been so stressful. All of my classes have so much to do and it was starting to take its toll on me. But this week made everything better. First there is a girl in my IT class that I got to know a little last semester and she is awesome. She is cute and just a really nice, sweet person. I have been trying to become better friends with her, but so far it has been slow. Last week some of my good friends in the ward Courtney and Vanessa convinced me to add her on Facebook. I did and she accepted it, but not too exciting. That was the weekend. Then on Tuesday she messaged me and asked if I wanted to work on a lab together later that day. Both of us had hinted at wanting to work together before but neither one of us would recognize it or it just wouldn't happen. So this was exciting that we were going to work together, and that she was the one that messaged me. We worked on it Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday we were able to help each other and it was great. Wednesday I finished before her and helped her a bit on it as well. So that was exciting. So at least we are friends and she is willing to ask me for help. And she might be interested in me. Another exciting thing I learned she plays soccer, which just makes her even more attractive. So I want to do something this weekend with her. Maybe ask her on a date. Or I was thinking of getting a group together to play soccer and invite her. That way we can interact in a more social atmosphere than the IT lab. And I can judge her interest without straight up asking her on a date. Another thought was there is a rugby game this Saturday that I really want to go to, so I could ask her to that, but I do not know if she would find that interested in it. So I am not sure what I am planning yet, but I need to do something. I would have tried something this weekend but she is out of town for the long weekend. But to add some drama to my week there is a girl in my ward named Riley who likes me. We are friends and I am just not attracted to her. I thought she might like me but she has a very flirty personality and I didn't know how to take that until this week. She invited me to dinner at her apartment on Wednesday and I thought it was going to be a bunch of people so I didn't read into it that much, but when I got there it was just us, so then I realized what was going on. And it was awkward because I was late to it because I stayed in the IT lab helping Allie. And in the middle of it Vanessa called asking about Allie so Riley kinda knows. Vanessa and Riley are friends and they were texting that night about me and Allie so hopefully Riley and I can just stay friends, but we will see. And the rest of school has been pretty relaxing and it is a three day weekend so life is good now.

The movie is done!

So the student film I have been helping Ashley with is done,well the filming part anyway. It is exciting, but a little sad at the same time. It was really busy, but I got to be part of something cool, meet new really sweet as people, and spend a lot of time with Ashley. I know Ashley is a bit relieved because she is not going to be so busy anymore, but she always finds things to make her super busy so I am sure something will come up. The thing I am glad about is the fact that Thanksgiving break is coming up and I don't have much homework so far so hopefully it should be a nice relaxing time before finals start.
